Metro Sport Inc. (doing business as Metro Swim Shop) seeks a Supply Chain Specialist in Stirling, NJ to manage the company's supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, logistics. 

Requires a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent and six (6) months of experience analyzing storing inventory.  Prior experience must include at least six (6) months of experience monitoring, reporting, and returning overstock inventory; identifying opportunities for inventory reductions; identifying opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction in the supply chain as well as designing, developing, and implementing new and improved processes to improve inventory turnover; developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and supplies; sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers for manufacturers and suppliers; negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions; monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet customer demands; conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies; controlling inventory by adjusting product pricing appropriately based on the ratios between inventory, demand, and supply; identifying and resolving out-of-stock issues by cleaning up inventory and reporting discrepancies to warehouses for inventory recounting; preparing products for sale by analyzing historical sales data and marketing in; preparing monthly inventory availability analysis; arranging daily shipments from warehouses to branch offices and customers via third party logistics partners and handling any shipping issues; coordinating with third-party logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods; monitoring shipment schedules, customs clearance, and delivery processes to ensure on-time delivery.
